Exiting from deep inside the Imax Crevasse into daylight.
The full moon about to pass behind Mount Discovery as seen from Black Island in April. This photo was taken a few days before the sun disappeared below the horizon for the winter. The sunlight only just hitting the top half of Mount Discovery.
Dorm Buildings at McMurdo Station. The odd lighting is because of the fog reflecting all the local town lights back down. There are about 75 rooms in each of these buildings.
Shackelton's Hut at Cape Royds at the end of winter.
Scott Base, Antarctica in mid-summer
Scott Base as seen form out on the Ice Shelf. Observation Hill is in the background. McMurdo Station sits at the Base of Ob Hill on it's right hand side out of the picture.

The Scott Base Road Sign, originally built from spare parts in 1999 by carpenter Grant Shadbolt with tongue in cheek, has since become somewhat of a local landmark.
Scott Tent. This is still the same basic design tent that was used by Scott and his men 100 years ago in Antarctica. Very reliable and practical for the local conditions.
